Solution:

If you are in a ResNet equipped dormitory then you need to register your computer with DHCP to be issued an IP address. For more information see:

If you are a Fraternity/Sorority member living in one of the EastNet equipped Greek Houses then you will need to register your computer with DHCP to be issued an IP address. For more information see:

http://www.eastnet.gatech.edu

If you are a Computer Support Representative then you can submit new IP address requests to support@oit.gatech.edu with the following information for EACH IP requested (Just copy this list into your email):

Date of Request:
Owner (Person responsible for machine):
Owner's Tel #:
Department:
Mail Code:
Type of Machine:
Operating System:
Building and Room:
Hostname:
Ethernet hardware address or subnet:
