Solution:
If you are using the RESNET system and for some reason you have lost your hostname on your machine, then simply re-register with DHCP at the following site:http://www.resnet.gatech.eduIf you are using the EASTNET system and and for some reason you have lost your hostname on your machine, then simply re-register with DHCP at the following site:http://www.eastnet.gatech.edu
For CSRs or in other instances, when you know an IP address, then log into ACME and type the following command:/usr/sbin/nslookup <IP Address>For example, if my IP address was 128.61.15.25, I would type in:/usr/sbin/nslookup 128.61.15.25Which would result in the following information displayed:Server: troll-gw.gatech.eduThe hostname I am looking for is: resnet.gatech.edu
Address: 130.207.244.251Name: resnet.gatech.edu
