If you are living in a campus residence hall, you will need a 10BaseT ethernet card and an appropriate cable for your computer. If you do not have a standard 10BaseT ethernet card on your computer, you will need to purchase one. The GT Computer Store carries network cards made by 3com and Maxtech, which are both supported and work well with the Georgia Tech network. If you are not living in a campus residence hall, you will need a 56K to connect (see page 3 "Network Connections" of the Student Computer Ownership Brochure for additional details).
