Webmail is most useful if you want to quickly check your mail while on vacation or away from your computer between classes.
GT Spectrum Webmail is accessible from anywhere on the internet using a browser which supports 128 bit encryption. This can be accessed at http://webmail.mail.gatech.edu/.
* The default port for secure SMTP (25) does not always work in all e-mail clients. In addition, Some ISPs do not allow connections to computers outside of their network on port 25. If you are having difficulty sending mail try changing the port number to 465 or 587.
