Announcing the 2015-2016 VMware Enterprise Purchasing Program (EPP)

Software Resource & Services (SRS) of the Board of Regents (BOR) is pleased to announce our partnership with VMware and Carahsoft for the 2015-2016 Enterprise Purchasing Program (renewal of our VMware ELA). This system-level agreement ensures our institutions are getting the best pricing and support available for VMware products, and also simplifies the purchasing and deployment process to better serve our campuses.

VMware and Carahsoft will be facilitating customer orders through authorized partners SHI, CDW, Dell, and Presidio to ensure all purchases receive BOR-negotiated pricing and that all licenses are properly applied to the BOR’s account for renewal and upgrade purposes.

To place an order, just contact one of the authorized partners directly to request a quote. They will handle the paperwork to compete your order. The partners have been briefed and know to provide you the BOR-negotiated pricing. POs will be issued directly to partners as new licenses will not be processed through SRS. SRS will continue to handle the annual SnS (maintenance) and are available as needed.

Our goal is to provide EPP pricing in line with your last bill for the VMware ELA. However, there will be additional for purchases and their annual maintenance. Through the Optimization Study, and your approval of licenses in your portal, there are schools that have additional licenses requiring a true-up. The true-up and maintenance will be billed as a separate line item along with the EPP invoice.

The BOR’s EPP will expire on June 6, 2016 and is annually renewable. For questions please email
