You have two options available to have your emails forwarded.
1. Store and Forward (Employees are not Eligible, only "current" Students)
Store and Forward allows you to keep a copy of your emails in your O365 mailbox and forward a copy to an external email account. Be Advised, that this feature will only work as long as you have access to your Office 365 mailbox. Once the license expires, this feature will no longer forward emails from your mailbox to the external email address.

A Resource Mailbox in Office 365 is typically used for scheduling of places or things like meeting rooms, audio-visual equipment, laptops, golf carts, etc. It can also be used for vacation or departmental scheduling calendars. Resource Mailboxes have access to special options and permissions that are not available to other mailbox types that allow an owner to control how people interact with the calendar of the mailbox.
If the customer does not configure EMFL during this 30-day expiration period, their email aliases will still attempt to delivery to a mailbox that no longer exists. This can lead to confusion because the customer still appears to have an Office 365 mailbox in Passport and IT management tools (like MAGE or BuzzAPI) even though the mailbox no longer exists.
