Configuring a remote repository:

1. First, visit http://hosting.gatech.edu, access the Control Panel for the domain you wish to install your application and click on "Git"

2. On the Add Git Repository page, confirm the “Remote Git hosting like GitHub or BitBucket” option is selected

3. In the Remote Git repository text box, type the URL where the remote repository is hosted

4. To select the deployment mode, click automatically deployed, select the mode you want, and then click Ok. To select the deployment directory on your site, click /httpdocs/, select the local directory you want to use, and then click Ok.

5. Copy the SSH public key (screenshot below) and create a SSH-Key in your Github/settings/SSH and GPG Keys [ New SSH Key ]

6. Click OK. Plesk will clone the remote repository into the local directory you specified in step 4.

Creating a local repository:

1. First, visit http://hosting.gatech.edu, access the Control Panel for the domain you wish to install your application and click on "Git"

2. On the Add Git Repository page, confirm the “Local repository on your workstation” option is selected

3. In the Git Repository in Plesk text box, type the name of your new repository

4. To select the deployment mode, click automatically deployed, select the mode you want, and then click Ok. To select the deployment directory on your site, click /httpdocs/, select the local directory you want to use, and then click Ok.

5. Click OK. Plesk will create the new local repository.

Editing repository settings:

1. First, visit http://hosting.gatech.edu, access the Control Panel for the domain you wish to install your application and click on "Git"

2. Locate the Git repository you want to edit, and click Repository Settings

3. On the settings page, make the changes you want, and click OK to ensure that Plesk updates the settings.
