How do I update my site with Drupal 7 and 8 core critical release PSA-2018-003

On April 25th, 2018 Drupal will release another core critical update for Drupal 7 and Drupal 8. Below is how you can update your website with this new release.

*** Important: Make sure that you have the most current backups of your codes and databases to fall back to (if needed).
How do I backup and restore my site? ***

Choose from the 2 options below of how you will patch your site.

Case1: You would like to use Installatron to update your web application.

Case2: You are NOT using Installatron Application, and using manual process to update your web application.


Case1: Using Installatron to perform the update.

If your site is not currently managed by Installatron, you can install this application on your Drupal website for automatic updates to new minor versions and security releases. How do I set up Installatron to my site?

As Drupal releases these updates, Installatron will pick up the update and automatically update your site for you. If you configured your settings below, your updates will be automatically done for you:

If you didn't set up your site for automatic update, you can update by checking in the checkbox right next to your site, and click on update button.


Case2 : If you are NOT using Installatron Application, please follow steps below.

You will need to manually update your site following the instructions from Drupal.org website
