How to Get a Georgia Tech Mailbox

If you're getting a message that says you do not currently have a Georgia Tech Mailbox, it is likely because you have chosen to forward your email to an external email account. To setup your Georgia Tech email box:

  1. Log into the passport site: https://passport.gatech.edu/
  2. Select Email preferences under the Email Sub-heading on the left side
  3. Under Email Destinations, choose "A Georgia Tech Office 365 mailbox"

This will setup your Georgia Tech Mailbox.

If you would like to have both (A GT Mailbox and Email Forwarding), then you will need to complete the "Store and Forward" option which will keep a copy of your emails in the Georgia Tech mailbox and forward a copy to the external mailbox of your choosing.
