What can I do if I don't have my device with me to log in to my application?
- If you don't have your device, and your previously added/registered another device to your Georgia Tech Two-factor Authentication account, you can log in using that other device, hardware token, or a backup code.
Note: If you've registered only the single device, contact the OIT-Technology Support Center (404-894-7173 or firstname.lastname@example.org) for assistance.
I have my mobile device with me, but no access to the internet or phone calls - what can I do?
- The Duo application generates a dynamic bypass code every minute that can be entered and does not require an internet connection.
Alternatives to printed list two-Factor Authenticate?
- Yes, you can generate 10 back up codes and Print Backup Codes. This is strongly recommended for all GT employees and students to protect yourself from phone issues.
- Please log into https://passport.gatech.edu/and click on the Two-Factor-Authentication link. Please go to the top-left side of the screen and click on the Two-Factor Authentication, then, click on the 'Generate Backup Codes' link. Once you create new backup codes, your previous codes are no longer valid.
