Calendar entries reflect the settings of the entry settings. Color bands on the left side and the transparency of the entry will be affected by the setting of the Display and any invite option chosen (accept, decline, tentative).
If you desire to have resource calendars created for your department, you should contact your local deparmental Computer Sservice Representative (CSR). If you are the CSR, you should send e-mail to email@example.com. They will email the My GaTech Calendar Resource/Location/Equipment Request Form.
It is important to provide the following information about the Resource:
Under the "Appointment Details" tab, go to the bottom of the screen and type your note into the unlabeled box. Above the box is a tool bar of formatting features you may use to format the text of your note.
You may have been using Outlook configured with either the IMAP or POP protocols. You may also have kept a calendar and contacts. Unfortunately the calendar and contacts were available only on one computer. My GaTech along with the Zimbra Connector centralizes the calendar, contacts, tasks etc on a server. The central data can be accessed by Outlook clients on different computers or by the My GaTech web client or by a mobile device using Activesync.
