Starting January 14th, 2014, the My GaTech email service will be removing potentially malicious attachments that could execute a program or code on your computer. It does this by removing all known executable attachment types such as *.exe, *.vb, or *.pif. While these might not actually be malicious, this level of security is a standard amongst email providers such as Google and Microsoft. If you need to send or receive an executable file, first compress (“zip”) the file before sending it.
The message will open in a new window/tab. From the print dialog box change the Printer Name to the PDF option. This listing will change depending on what software is installed on the computer. (e.g. pdflite, cutepdf, adobe pro, etc)
My GaTech searches through the Global Address List and your local contact lists for everything that matches an address as you are typing it in, and displays it as autocomplete options.
This includes Contact Groups that a person is a member of. To not display these contact groups when autocompleting, go to your Preferences, Select Address Book and Autocomplete. Check "Don't show contact group if one of its members matches"
