  1. Visit http://hosting.gatech.edu and select the domain you wish to add the alias for from the left hand column. For information on how to login to your webHosting control panel, visit How to Connect to Your New Webhosting Hosted Site.
  2. In "Websites & Domains, click on the "Add New Domain Alias" button.

    Add new domain alias

  3. Enter the alias you want to create. If you want visitors to be able to access your site at http://mysite.gatech.edu, enter mysite.gatech.edu in the box. Ensure that only the box for web service is checked. When you are satisfied, click "OK".
    Enter your site name
  4.
  5. YOU ARE NOT DONE! While you have told Plesk to create the alias, you also need to setup the alias in DNS so that your visitors will be directed to your site. To do this, send an email to support@oit.gatech.edu with the primary domain of your site and the name of the alias you created above.
