If I am no longer at Georgia Tech, how can I change my password?

This FAQ was last modified on: Monday, October 24, 2016 11:47am

To change your password, use PassPort, same as when you were here at Georgia Tech. Be sure that your security questions (or HINTS) have been set when you actually know your password. The answers to these questions can be used any time in the event that you forget your password.  Remember they are your alternate way to login.  They do NOT reset or give you your password, they are simply another way to login.  If you have to use this method to login, then you can simply create a new password.

OIT requires that you change your password about every 120 days (3 times per year). If you have DUO 2 Factor authentication enabled, you are only required to change your password once every 365 days. If you do not change your password when asked, your password will expire. You will no longer be able to login to various services such as BuzzPort, MyGaTech email, & LAWN (GTwifi).
