How do I recover a deleted file on my mounted Prism folder (SMB)?

This FAQ was last modified on: Tuesday, September 6, 2016 12:04pm

Prism provides a mechanism whereby a user can restore old versions of files themselves. Seven days worth of "snapshots" are kept in case a file is inadvertently deleted or needs to be reverted to a previous version. If the file needs to be recovered from more than 7 days prior, OIT has around 6 weeks of tertiary-storage backups. Please contact the Support Center if you need to recover data on Prism. Below we explain how to recover your own data from the snapshots.
