Installing the latest Laptop OIT Printing PackageWindows 8.
It is important to keep up to date with the latest version of the Laptop OIT Printing Package as from time to time we do make changes to the system and when this happens old packages become obsolete and may not work anymore. Below are instructions for how to properly upgrade you Mobile OIT Printing package.
1. Start by uninstalling the original Laptop OIT Printing Package.

A moderate weekly quota ($2.20) is provided to students for color ($.19) or black and white ($.04)printing in any OIT Computer Cluster, and students may use their Buzzcard for pay-for-print if they ever need to exceed this quota.

How to install the Laptop OIT Print package on Linux
Officially OIT does not support printing from Linux as there are many flavors and it is difficult to support. The easiest way to print from Linux is log into mycloud.gatech.edu and print from the Library VLab. Or, if you would prefer, below are some instructions which will hopefully allow you to configure the printers locally on your own.

OIT's Laptop Print service works much like printing does in any of the OIT computer labs with a print release station. There are only some minor exceptions. The instructions below illustrate how to go about using the mobile printing service.

Installing the latest Laptop OIT Printing PackageWindows 7
As of March 20 2014 older print packages will not work and you must update to the latest. Below are instructions for how to properly upgrade to the latest print package. If you are installing for the first time skip to step 5.
Start by uninstalling the original Laptop OIT Printing package:
1. Go to Start Menu -> Control Panel -> Programs and Features.
2. Select "Pharos" from the list of installed programs.
